We here at Empire Labs advertised our first retail do-it-yourself penis casting kit back in April of 1998. The small ad ran on the back page of the San Francisco Bay Guardian under our original name: Abacus VCE (try to find our ad in the image above). Back then, our primary mission was manufacturing custom materials for special effects in movies. We still make materials for Hollywood, but our world famous Clone-A-Willy penis casting kits have taken off like we never imagined. Clone-A-Willy can be found in almost every developed country on earth, and has been translated into numerous languages. But were we the first?
