Our Company / History
In 1996, Empire Labs was founded by a Chemist in the San Francisco Bay Area. What started as a specialty materials company focused on creating highly customized, body-safe, skin-like silicone for medical and prosthetic applications quickly evolved into something much bigger. Our formulations and techniques were truly one of a kind, and word spread fast about our ability to create incredibly lifelike, easy-to-use molding and casting materials.
Our products became a go-to for special effects teams, used in an array of Hollywood films to create highly detailed body casts. Then in 1997, an independent film asked us to create realistic penis replicas in a range of shapes and sizes. What started as a practical solution on set quickly became a standout hit, leading us to create a retail version. And just like that, the first DIY Clone-A-Willy kits were born.

Since 2003, Empire Labs has proudly called Portland, Oregon home.
