10 New Years Resolutions for more Pleasure 🍾

This year, we’re skipping out on resolutions rooted in deprivation and discipline because instead, we’re choosing pleasure!
1. Romanticize the everyday
Pleasure lives in small moments as well as the ones that require big gestures, like lighting a candle before dinner, taking it slowly in the morning, or wearing something that makes you feel super sexy. Let ordinary routines feel special, and take the time to notice what might’ve been missed dozens of times before.
2. Prioritize pleasure over productivity
You do not need to take every waking second to optimize for productivity, and we’re going to radicalize that take for 2026 by prioritizing what makes you happy over what makes you useful.

3. Use your phone intentionally
Scrolling should be a choice, not a reflex or a bad habit. Delete apps and mute accounts that no longer serve you. Set a limit on your phone for specific times (and stick to it). Before you start scrolling, reflect on what you’re interested in reading or watching.
4. Adopt a non-negotiable daily confidence boost
Show up every day by being kind to yourself, doing things that allow you to grow in the ways you would like to grow, and adopting new habits that allow you to feel more confident in your own skin.

5. Make rest a ritual
Rest is a prerequisite for pleasure, libido, creativity, and emotional regulation. Ensure you are getting enough sleep, and allowing space between projects to reflect and intentionally move ahead.
6. Transform pleasure into more of a shared experience
Pleasure can be so much more when it’s shared with others through laughter, touch, food, conversation, or just being together without any specific plans.

7. Move your body in ways that feel good
Instead of planning a bootcamp, really take the time to consider which sports or movement feels enjoyable to you.
8. Map out your pleasure
Create a list of experiences that brings you back to yourself. You can list this out, develop a map of sorts, or use any tools that feel most connected to this process of reflecting.

9. Celebrate the small things
The big wins are composed of all the little details and small wins, though it’s easy to forget this when thinking of long-term goals. Take time to celebrate the little guys along the way.
10. Declare this your pleasure year
Share these intentions with friends and family, and see what kinds of inspiration and conversation ignites from the idea. On your own, consider what you will do this coming year that you never allowed yourself to do before. ❤️🔥

Let this be the year you soften into what feels good in your body, your relationships, and your daily routines. 🥂
